Dr. Sean Lessard Teacher Education Award

The Dr. Sean Lessard Teacher Education Award was established in 2023/24 and is available to students enrolled full-time in University Transfer (Education majors) at the Lloydminster campus of Lakeland College. The recipient must display academic achievement and be of self-declared Indigenous ancestry, including Status First Nation, Non-Status First-Nation, Métis, or Inuit. This award recognizes and supports Indigenous students pursuing teacher education pathways through university transfer programs.
