The Dr Sigurd Balfour Scholarship in Medicine is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in second year of a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated excellence in the cardiology component of the Cardiovascular Pulmonary and Renal Course.
