Dr Sigurd Balfour Scholarship in Medicine

The Dr Sigurd Balfour Scholarship in Medicine is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in second year of a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated excellence in the cardiology component of the Cardiovascular Pulmonary and Renal Course. This endowed scholarship is funded by the Buchanan and Balfour Families and is administered by the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application.
