Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship

The Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship honors the memory of Steve Kerr, who aspired to become a doctor despite limited financial resources. This scholarship supports nontraditional students who are enrolled in the Allied Health Program at Wenatchee Valley College. The committee specifically seeks to award older students who, for some reason, were unable to pursue or complete their higher education and who are now studying medicine or pursuing a medically related career. The scholarship was established to help students who face similar financial challenges that Dr. Kerr overcame through scholarship support, allowing them to pursue their passion for medicine and healthcare careers.
