Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship

The Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship honors Dr. Steve Kerr, who overcame limited financial resources through a scholarship to attend the University of Arizona and medical school, ultimately devoting his life to the practice of medicine. This scholarship supports nontraditional students enrolled in the Allied Health Program at Wenatchee Valley College. The scholarship specifically seeks to award older students who, for various reasons, were unable to pursue or complete their higher education earlier in life and are now studying in the field of medicine or a medically related career. The scholarship recognizes that returning to education after a break requires dedication and supports those pursuing healthcare careers in the North Central Washington region.
