About this opportunity
The Dr. Vernier and Leonne Rondeau Prize in Biology was established in memory of the donor's grandparents, to recognize and reward academic excellence by graduating or graduated students in the Master of Science in Biology program at the University of Regina. The prize is awarded to graduate students who have completed or are completing their Master of Science in Biology degree with an outstanding research thesis. The award recognizes not only academic excellence with a minimum GPA requirement of 80%, but also values community service and volunteer activity. Selection is based on thesis quality including completion time, writing quality, defense quality, publications, conference presentations, and academic awards pertaining to the research work.
