Dr. Walter R. Shaw Award

The Dr. Walter R. Shaw Award is an annual scholarship granted to a graduating student at the University of Prince Edward Island who achieves the highest aggregate with a Major in English within the Faculty of Arts. This award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in English studies and is designed to honor graduating students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their English major coursework. The award provides financial recognition of $200 to the recipient who has achieved the highest academic standing among English majors in the Faculty of Arts.
