Dr. William B. Tym Scholarship

The Dr. William B. Tym Scholarship supports juniors and seniors enrolled in the Pre-Dentistry program at Eastern Illinois University. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.5 GPA and show promise of success in the study and practice of dentistry. The recipient must be a person of integrity who is committed to pursuing a career in dentistry. Financial need is not a primary consideration unless all other criteria are equal among candidates. The award is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Eastern Illinois University scholarship portal.
