About this opportunity
The Dr. William Coppola Scholarship is offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion. The scholarship requires a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5 or, for first-time TCC students, a high school equivalent or passing GED score. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by their program for the period of award.
Preference is given to Southeast Campus students and to applicants that meet federal or state guidelines for financial need. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient achieves a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 and completes a minimum of 6 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by their program) in the fall. The award amount varies and is determined by the scholarship committee.
This scholarship honors Dr. William Coppola and is made possible by contributions from his family and friends. Students are automatically considered for the scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Tarrant County College Foundation scholarship platform.
