Dr. Wilma Elias Graduate Scholarship in Chemistry

Two or more scholarships are awarded annually to academically outstanding women graduate students in Chemistry at the University of Victoria. Preference is given to students who are not receiving major external funding such as Tri-Agency awards or equivalent, or a UVic Fellowship in the same year. The scholarships are designed to support women pursuing graduate studies in Chemistry who demonstrate academic excellence. Approval of the recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon recommendation from the Department of Chemistry. The minimum requirement for consideration is normally an A- average, and recipients must be full-time graduate students unless otherwise noted.
