Dr Yvonne Zhou-Grundy Scholarship

The Dr Yvonne Zhou-Grundy Scholarship is a foundation scholarship established by Dr Yvonne Zhou-Grundy to support students undertaking TAFE studies in engineering fields at Federation University Australia. Dr Zhou-Grundy came to Australia 30 years ago and remembers her humble beginnings working full-time while studying part-time as a new migrant in Melbourne. After completing her PhD at Victoria University, she specialized in export of Australian education and training to the Pacific Region with a strong focus on China. The scholarship reflects Dr Zhou-Grundy's appreciation for the opportunities and generosity given by Australia, which she now calls home. She wants to make a difference by helping students have what they need to succeed in their educational pursuits. The scholarship awards $1,000 AUD to support students enrolled in Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting at Federation University's Ballarat campus. Two scholarships are available annually for both domestic and international students who are new or commencing their studies.
