Driftstilskudd til samiske språk- og kultursentre

Troms fylkeskommune (Troms County Municipality) provides operational support grants to established Sami language and culture centers operating in the county. This funding program supports seven Sami language and culture centers in collaboration with the Sámi Parliament and host municipalities. The centers play a central role in comprehensive reconstruction and revitalization work for Sami language and culture. They offer language courses and activities that strengthen and encourage the use of Sami languages across the region. Applications are evaluated based on submitted annual reports and financial statements from the previous year, activity plans for the current year, and budget needs for the year for which the grant is being requested.
