Drømmestipendet - Dans

Drømmestipendet is a scholarship program for young art and culture practitioners in Norway between 18 and 25 years of age. This dance category provides funding to support young dancers in pursuing their artistic dreams. The program is a collaborative project between Norsk Tipping and Kulturskolerådet (Norwegian Council for Schools of Music and Performing Arts). Applications undergo a two-stage review process, first at the municipal level and then by a national jury consisting of both a professional jury and a dream jury. A total of 50 scholarships are awarded annually across all categories. The program emphasizes both the applicant's artistic skills and their dreams for future development. Recipients can only receive the scholarship once in their lifetime.
