Drømmestipendet - Musikk

Drømmestipendet is a scholarship program for young art and culture practitioners in Norway between the ages of 18 and 25. The program awards stipends to individuals or groups pursuing their dreams in various cultural disciplines including music. Applications go through a nomination process at the municipal level, followed by national jury evaluation. The national jury consists of both a professional jury and a 'dream jury' that evaluates the applicant's dream alongside their professional skills. A total of 50 applications are awarded the Drømmestipendet each year across all categories. This is a collaboration project between Norsk Tipping and Kulturskolerådet (the Norwegian Council for Schools of Music and Performing Arts). For the music category, applicants must submit video and/or audio material with a maximum length of 5 minutes showing their performance abilities.
