Drømmestipendet - Åpen klasse

Drømmestipendet is a scholarship program for young art and culture practitioners aged 18-25 in Norway. The 'Åpen klasse' (Open class) category is for applicants whose artistic expression does not naturally fall under one of the other specific categories. The scholarship is a collaboration between Norsk Tipping and Kulturskolerådet. Applications go through a nomination process at the municipal level before advancing to national jury review. The national jury consists of a professional jury and a 'dream jury', with emphasis placed equally on the applicant's dream and their professional skills. A total of 50 scholarships are awarded annually. Applicants can apply as individuals or as groups, and must be born between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2007 to apply for the 2026 scholarship. Recipients can only receive the scholarship once in their lifetime, though they are encouraged to reapply if not selected initially.
