About this opportunity
The Drs Man & Kang Wong Memorial Prize has been established in memory of Dr. Francis Kang Wong and his father, Dr Man Wong, both distinguished graduates of St Thomas' Medical School. Family and friends have contributed to this award so that students with an interest in cardiology, who have gained significant academic achievements at King's, can receive an award to recognise and support their dedication. The prize is intended to recognise and support students with demonstrated interest in cardiology who have achieved significant academic success at King's College London. One prize of £250 is offered annually to eligible undergraduate MBBS students or those undertaking postgraduate qualifications in the Cardiovascular Division. Recipients must be enrolled and in attendance at King's, demonstrate interest in cardiology through a supporting statement, provide a reference from their personal or course tutor, and have a good academic record. Winners are selected by committee based on their supporting statement, tutor reference, and academic results.
