About This Opportunity

The Duchesne College Sister Philomene Tiernan RSCJ Residential Scholarship Bursary is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme and provides financial support to domestic undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship. The scholarship assists with accommodation fees for students residing at Duchesne College. Established in 2022 by David and Judy Tynan under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, the annual distributions of the endowment support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at Duchesne College. Preference is given to applicants from Regional, Rural or Remote Areas and those who are First in Family.
