About this opportunity

The Dudgeon Community STEM in Schools Fund provides grants of up to £10,000 to schools and eligible organisations to deliver projects designed to engage students in STEM subjects. The Fund aims to inspire pupils and students in primary/secondary schools and colleges (up to and including year 13) to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects, increasing the likelihood that those pupils will continue education or employment within STEM areas. The Fund supports creative projects which can demonstrate sustained impact on pupils and students. Projects seeking to engage underrepresented groups in STEM are encouraged, as well as continued support for student activities that have proven successful. All applications must be for STEM initiatives delivered to pupils in the Great Yarmouth, Breckland or North Norfolk districts of Norfolk, England. Collaboration between schools and colleges is strongly encouraged. The Fund operates a two-stage application process, with applicants first submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) which is reviewed by a panel before being invited to complete a full application. Funding decisions are made twice yearly in May and December.
