About This Opportunity

The Dunfield Scholarship in Economics is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students enrolled in the fourth year in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Economics at the University of Calgary. The scholarship recognizes academic merit and is awarded to students who demonstrate an interest in the function, structure and operation of financial markets and/or energy economics. Applicants must submit a proposal for a research project for their final degree year to the Head of the Department of Economics. The focus of the project should be in one of the areas listed above, which can be undertaken as part of a capstone project in an existing course. This award supports students pursuing advanced study in economics with a particular focus on financial markets or energy economics research.
