About This Opportunity

The Durham Inspired: Computer Science scholarships are offered due to the generous support of donors and are specifically designed to support applicants from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing Computer Science degrees at Durham University. The scholarship provides £4,000 per academic year for undergraduate students. One scholarship is available to applicants commencing their studies in October 2026. The scholarship aims to support low income applicants and those underrepresented in Computer Science, with preference given to applicants from the North East of England. The scholarship is available for a maximum of 4 years of undergraduate study, including foundation year or integrated masters programmes. Applicants must have a household income below £42,875 as determined by Student Finance, be the first generation in their immediate family to attend University, and be from a background currently underrepresented in Computer Science.
