About this opportunity
The Dwell Village Accommodation Support Scholarship is designed for students who need to relocate to study at RMIT in Melbourne. The scholarship provides a rental subsidy worth up to $12,408 in the form of accommodation support for a bed in a shared 2-Bedroom Studio at dwell Village student accommodation. The scholarship is aimed at supporting students from interstate or rural/regional areas within Australia who are moving to Melbourne to undertake their studies. Recipients must demonstrate financial hardship and may also be experiencing circumstances that impact their ability to study, such as living with a disability, experiencing personal difficulties, being from foster/kinship care, or being from under-represented backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, refugees, or students from non-English speaking backgrounds. The scholarship covers accommodation for 44 weeks during the academic year, with students contributing $94 per week while the scholarship covers the remainder of the rental costs.
