Dwight and Bette (Leckrone) Baptist Scholarship

The Dwight and Bette (Leckrone) Baptist Scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students at Eastern Illinois University. For undergraduate students, the scholarship alternates by year: in even-numbered fiscal years it supports majors in Accounting or Family and Consumer Sciences (with options in family services, dietetics, or hospitality management), while in odd-numbered fiscal years it supports education majors. Graduate recipients must be enrolled in programs within the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology (MBA or Family and Consumer Sciences) in even years, or the College of Education in odd years. Recipients must be graduates from Cowden-Herrick, Salem, or Shelbyville high schools in Illinois and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The award is announced in the spring and disbursed in the fall semester.
