About This Opportunity

The Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship is designed to support undergraduate students with a disability, long-term medical condition, or neurodiverse condition that impacts their ability to study. Through sport, education, mentorship, and disability advocacy, the Dylan Alcott Foundation seeks to empower young Australians living with disability to chase their dreams and break down barriers. The scholarship provides financial assistance covering both tuition fees and living expenses, with payments divided between direct course fee support and stipend payments to help with study and living costs. The scholarship is available to students enrolling at RMIT University in associate or bachelor's degree programs, with varying amounts depending on full-time or part-time enrollment status. Recipients must be under 26 years of age and demonstrate circumstances that impact their ability to study, such as low income, personal difficulties, rural/regional background, or under-represented status. The Foundation believes in equal opportunities for all individuals, especially the chance to complete tertiary education, and has partnered with RMIT University to create these scholarships.
