About this opportunity
The Dylis and Milton Renham Scholarship provides financial support to students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Established in 2018 from a donation by Dylis and Milton Renham, this scholarship assists outstanding students studying music, with a preference for those studying bassoon, oboe, or saxophone. The scholarship is available to students enrolled or with an unconditional offer to study a full-time coursework or research degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on a case-by-case basis and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients. For coursework students, payments are made in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. For postgraduate research students, the value is paid as a stipend on a fortnightly basis. Selection is based on academic merit, portfolio and/or performance, and for research students, research achievements and potential. No separate application is necessary as eligible students are automatically considered during the admission application process.
