E. B. Wood, Jr. Scholarship

The E. B. Wood, Jr. Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen in the Pamplin College of Business (PCOB) at Virginia Tech. The scholarship seeks students who demonstrate academic merit and have a connection to the class of 1948, specifically descendants of that class. Eligible applicants must be residents of West Virginia or graduates of West Virginia high schools. This scholarship provides financial support that varies in amount and is designed to help students with demonstrated financial need pursue their undergraduate education in business. Recipients must personally contribute to their tuition and college living expenses, with consideration given to students who work during the school year to fund their education. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the recipient maintains a satisfactory grade point average and makes satisfactory progress toward completing their baccalaureate degree. Recipients agree to have their name and scholarship information shared with the Pamplin College of Business administration, donors, and used in college publications and communications.
