Earl S. Dickerson Award

The Earl S. Dickerson Award is a competitive scholarship for senior students majoring in Accounting at Eastern Illinois University. This award recognizes academic excellence and professional potential in the field of accounting. To be eligible, students must have senior status, have completed at least 30 semester hours at EIU, and maintain an overall GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Award Committee selects recipients based on qualities essential to professional accountants, including job experience, ethics, involvement in activities, and potential for success in the accounting profession. The award is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester.
