Earl Wright Crome Memorial Scholarship

The Earl Wright Crome Memorial Scholarship provides scholarship support for SIUE students majoring in History. This scholarship is specifically designed for junior or senior students who are on the student teaching track and eligible to receive a certificate in Social Science Education. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing. The award amount is based on available funds, with the current award set at $1,000. Recipients are chosen by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of History, composed of faculty members from within the department. The committee has the discretion to award all or part of the available funds to one student or to distribute it among multiple students.
