Earth and Planetary Sciences Enabling Fund

The Earth and Planetary Sciences Enabling Fund provides financial assistance to students studying earth and planetary sciences at Birkbeck, University of London. Established through generous donations from former students, including Mr Timothy J Newling, the fund supports students with costs related to fieldwork, travel for academic purposes including conferences, and other study-related expenditure. Evidence of financial need is required to support applications. Awards are typically limited to £500 and are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in relevant degree programs. The fund has three application deadlines per year: 30 November, 28 February, and 31 May.
