Eastchurch Community Fund

The Eastchurch Community Fund is supported by two wind farm developments located in the Parish of Eastchurch on the Isle of Sheppey. The fund is contributed to annually by EnergieKontor (New Rides) and Resonance Asset Management (HMP Standford Hill). The fund supports projects in the Eastchurch Parish, providing approximately £36,000 per year to eligible organizations. The fund operates with two funding rounds each year, with decisions made within two months of published deadlines. The Spring round receives 75% of the annual allocation, while the Autumn round receives the remaining 25%. Eligible applicants include voluntary and community groups, community, parish and town councils, schools and educational establishments, and social enterprises operating on a not-for-profit basis. A local Advisory Group has been established to help decide how to spend the fund each year. Grant amounts range from a minimum of £250 to a maximum of £30,000 for the Spring round and £10,000 for the Autumn round. Any funding not allocated in a round is rolled forward to the next round.
