E.B. Dumbroff Award

This award was established by colleagues and former graduate students of Professor Erwin B. Dumbroff in recognition of his contribution to plant science research and his training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The award recognizes graduate students for research excellence in any aspect of plant science. Recipients receive a monetary amount and a certificate, with other forms of recognition as appropriate. The award is given annually or less frequently if there are no suitable candidates, as determined by the Department of Biology Awards Committee. Students are selected automatically by the Faculty/Department without requiring a separate application.
