About this opportunity
The E.B. Meadows Memorial Bursary in Social Work was established through a generous bequest from the donor. Elizabeth Beatrice Meadows was born in Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan and went on to be a long-time employee of the Department of National Defence in Ottawa. She was an enthusiastic fan of Dixieland jazz and big band music. These bursaries support, recognize and encourage students in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina. The award is presented to students who have successfully completed the first year of a Master's degree in Social Work, are registered full-time during the semester the funding is awarded, and are in good academic standing. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay about how they will contribute to the field of Social Work after they graduate.
