About this opportunity
The Ebb and Flow Bursary provides financial support to students taking professional therapy courses within Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. Two bursaries of £500 each are available annually to help students experiencing unavoidable financial hardship, with priority given to hardship related to disability.
The bursaries are designed specifically for continuing students (2nd and 3rd year) enrolled in MA Art Psychotherapy, MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy, or MA Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy programs. Applicants must have a recognized disability that has affected their educational life and must have disclosed this disability on their application.
Selection criteria include the level of unavoidable financial hardship experienced by the individual, with priority given to hardship related to disability, as well as the strength of the individual's attendance and performance on their program. A panel comprising academic staff within STaCS convenes to review all applications and make final selections, with no appeal process available.
