Eccles PhD Scholarship in Medical Sciences

The Eccles PhD Scholarship in Medical Sciences is offered annually by the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) at the Australian National University. The scholarship aims to attract international students of high calibre to pursue higher degree research in Neurosciences at JCSMR. The scholarship provides an annual living expense stipend paid fortnightly, along with a fee-waiver scholarship for international students. Additional benefits include allowances for thesis reimbursement as well as paid medical, maternity and paternity leave. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on meeting the eligibility criteria, with no separate application required. Eligible candidates must be international students enrolling full-time in a Doctor of Philosophy program at JCSMR, holding an Australian Bachelor Honours degree with First Class Honours or equivalent, along with research publications and/or relevant research experience.
