The Edmonton Eskimos Opportunities Golden Bears Football Award is awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students with satisfactory academic standing who are members of the Golden Bears Football Team at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a minimum 18 units of course weight taken during the previous academic year, and excellence in football. Preference will be given to those in financial need. This endowed award is made possible through funds provided by the Edmonton Eskimos and the University of Alberta Bookstore.
