Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hockey Award

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hockey Award is presented to four students annually - two female and two male athletes. This award recognizes student-athletes who are members of the University of Alberta's Golden Bears and Pandas Hockey Teams. Recipients must demonstrate a combination of academic achievement (maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or greater on at least 18 credits), indicated financial need, and demonstrated excellence in their sport. The award is available to students enrolled in any year of an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the University of Alberta. This scholarship supports student-athletes who balance their academic pursuits with high-level athletic competition, while also experiencing financial need. The award is generously funded annually by the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.
