About this opportunity
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Women's Hockey Awards are available to full-time students who are members of the women's hockey team at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). Recipients must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA (63%) or greater in the current semester. The award is disbursed in two increments in January and May upon maintaining academic standing, and recipients are selected by NAIT coaching staff based on acceptance into their program and acceptance onto their NAIT intercollegiate team.
This award is renewable annually depending on continued progress through the student's program and continuation on the team. The award amount is disbursed in increments of $500, up to full tuition and mandatory fees. Students are automatically considered for this award with no application required, and recipients are selected at the discretion of the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
This scholarship supports women athletes pursuing their education while competing in intercollegiate hockey at NAIT, recognizing both athletic participation and academic achievement.
