About this opportunity
The Edna Briggs Scholarship in Physics aims to support students undertaking studies in physics at the University of Sydney. This undergraduate scholarship was established in 2021 in honour of Edna Briggs. The scholarship is valued at $6,000 per annum and is tenable for one year only. It is awarded to students currently enrolled full-time in second year of an undergraduate Science degree who have achieved the highest average mark in at least 12 credit points of Physics units of study. Preference is given to female students. The scholarship is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester and no application is required as successful recipients are automatically identified and notified by email.
