Edna Fast Maguire Kappa Delta Sorority Scholarship

The Edna Fast Maguire Kappa Delta Sorority Scholarship was established in 2019 to honor Edna Fast Maguire's commitment to her alma mater, Washington State University and devoted service to Kappa Delta. Education was always important to Edna. She started her early education years traveling by horse and buggy to a one room schoolhouse, then attended high school in Ritzville before graduating from Washington State University in 1942 with a BS in business and as a proud member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Edna continued the philanthropic ways that were encouraged from her years with Kappa Delta throughout her entire life. This scholarship is awarded to a collegiate Panhellenic woman who has worked to further her fraternal community's reputation on her campus and who embodies the values of sisterhood, philanthropy and scholarship. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate financial need and have displayed significant service or contributions to their chapter, university or community at large.
