About this opportunity
The Edna Money Future Pacific Leaders' Scholarship provides support for Pacific students to achieve academically at the University of Waikato. This scholarship is available for all subject areas and supports domestic school leavers of Pacific Island descent who are intending to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree. The scholarship was established through a bequest from Edna Money, a Morrinsville farmer and accountant who left $1 million to the University of Waikato specifically to benefit Pacific students. The scholarship aims to recognize and support the academic excellence of Pacific Island students as they begin their university education. Applicants must have achieved NCEA Level 2 with Merit or equivalent and demonstrate their commitment to full-time study in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Waikato.
