Edson-Simpson Graduate Scholarship in Nursing

The Edson-Simpson Graduate Scholarship in Nursing provides financial support to academically outstanding graduate students enrolled in the Nurse Practitioner program in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria. At least twenty-two scholarships of at least $5,000 each are awarded annually. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence with preference given to students who demonstrate financial need. Recipients are approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee based on recommendations from the School of Nursing. Students must normally maintain a minimum A- average to be considered for this award. This is a nomination-based scholarship that does not require a separate application from students.
