Education and Training Benefit

The Education and Training Benefit (ETB) helps pay for education required for Veterans to reach their career or personal goals after their military service. This taxable benefit provides flexible funding that allows recipients to choose the education and school that best suits them. The program is not limited to formal post-secondary training - funding is also available for shorter courses including business boot camps, workshops, and seminars for career and personal development. Veterans have 10 years from their release date to apply for this funding, which can be used for certifications, degrees, diplomas, or additional training to provide a greater advantage in the workforce.
