About this opportunity
Following the initial two-year partnership, the Leathersellers' Foundation and Merchant Taylors' Foundation have launched a joint grants programme to support primary schools in developing activities that support families as their children move into school, particularly for young children from low-income households. This programme provides grants to enable primary schools to implement activities based on the PEEPs Learning Together programme or an equivalent framework, involving parents/carers and young children, supporting early development and preparing children from the local community for a successful start in school. The programme aims to help young children from low-income families progress developmentally as they transition to school, with a focus on schools that can demonstrate high levels of need through socio-economic indicators, educational indicators, or safeguarding indicators. Successful applicants will be required to commit to measuring impact and sharing outcomes of their work.
