Edward Connolly Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start Award

The Edward Connolly Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start Award was established in 2008 for the assistance of students in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program at the University of Auckland. The Award provides financial support of up to $2,000 to first year BE(Hons) students who have applied for a Faculty of Engineering and Design Kick Start Award. This scholarship is provided for in the will of the late Mr Edward Connolly and is designed to help students with their study expenses during their first year of engineering studies. The award is given by nomination and does not require a separate application from students, as it is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
