About This Opportunity

The £10,000 EGA IfWH BAME Master's Scholarship supports UK students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds under-represented in the student body at UCL's EGA Institute for Women's Health. The scholarship provides £10,000 towards tuition fees to pursue postgraduate studies. One award is available per academic year, and students may apply only once. Selection is based on both academic merit and financial need. Students must identify as being from specific ethnic groups (Black or Black British Caribbean, Mixed White and Asian, Mixed White and Black African), be UK domiciled with Home fee status, have an offer of admission to an IfWH programme of study, not have completed a Master's previously, and be in financial need with an assessed household income of less than £42,875. The scholarship aims to increase diversity and representation in women's health research and education.
