EGA IfWH BAME PhD Scholarship
About This Opportunity
The EGA IfWH BAME PhD Scholarship provides £5,000 per year for 3 years towards tuition fees for UK-domiciled students from under-represented Black and Mixed ethnic backgrounds pursuing doctoral research at the EGA Institute for Women's Health at UCL. One award is available per academic year. This scholarship is intended to attract BAME students in specific ethnic groups that are currently under-represented in the IfWH student body, including Black or Black British Caribbean, Black or Black British African, Mixed White and Black Caribbean, and Mixed White and Black African students. The scholarship is based on both academic merit and financial need, with applicants required to have an assessed household income of less than £42,875. Recipients must have an offer of admission to an IfWH programme of study and be UK-domiciled with Home fee status.
