Egyptian Public Schools Scholarships - Fall 2026

The Public-School Scholarship Fund (PSSF) is a scholarship program launched by AUC (The American University in Cairo) along with individuals and corporations to expand educational opportunities to Egyptian students who graduated from public schools. The scholarship targets students graduating from public, experimental, STEM, and Nile schools in the academic year 2025-2026 who have outstanding academic records and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support covering tuition and fees for undergraduate study at AUC. Additionally, eligible students residing outside Cairo and Giza may receive housing in a double room at the AUC dorms, while eligible students not residing at the dorms may receive AUC transportation support. Applicants must meet AUC's admission requirements and demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS (minimum 5.5 band score with 5.5 writing), TOEFL (minimum 62 total score with 17 writing), or Duolingo (minimum 115-120 score). Tests must be completed no more than two years before the first day of the enrollment term.
