EIU Annuitants Association Scholarship

The EIU Annuitants Association Scholarship is a one-time award for undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University who are children or grandchildren of current or retired EIU employees with five or more years of service. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least twelve semester hours at the time of selection and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA at EIU. Applicants are required to submit a written statement detailing their career goals and financial need, along with a letter of recommendation from an Eastern Illinois University advisor or faculty member. The scholarship gives preference to recipients with demonstrated financial need when multiple suitable applicants are available. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed across the Fall and Spring semesters. This scholarship is offered by the EIU Annuitants Association to support the educational pursuits of the children and grandchildren of those who have served the university community.
