Elaine Etherton Scholarship 2026

The Elaine Etherton Scholarship is a cash award of £3,500 per year for three years for a UK student with outstanding academic potential who is in financial need. One scholarship is available annually to a new undergraduate student with Home fee status studying in selected academic departments at Royal Holloway, University of London. Eligible students must have achieved or be expected to achieve A-Levels of AAA or equivalent (e.g. Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma) and come from families with an income of less than £25,000. The scholarship is designed to support academically talented students from low-income backgrounds to pursue higher education in specific subject areas including English, History, Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Psychology, and Physics.
