Electa Quinney Institute's Indigenous Kinship & Responsibility Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to select students engaged in the activities of the Electa Quinney Institute or related programs and curricula. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate understanding of kinship and responsibility within Indigenous communities. Students are asked to articulate personal, familial, or community narratives about these concepts and their specific connections to Indigenous communities in Wisconsin, the United States, or globally. The Electa Quinney Institute for American Indian Education at UW-Milwaukee provides this support to graduate students pursuing studies related to Indigenous education and community engagement.
