About this opportunity
The Electrical & Computer Engineering Master of Engineering Award of Excellence (EMAE) is a scholarship program at the University of Waterloo designed to recognize and support graduate students in the ECE Master of Engineering program. The award is valued at $1,000 per recipient and is available to both full-time and part-time students who are within the time limits of their program. Ten awards are provided per year, distributed across academic terms. Recipients are selected automatically each term by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, specifically by the Associate Chair of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Studies Committee. Selection is based on demonstrated academic excellence, requiring a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent in the current program. Students are eligible to receive this award a maximum of one time per degree, making it a non-renewable recognition of academic achievement in the field of electrical and computer engineering at the master's level.
