Electricals Recycling Fund

The Electricals Recycling Fund aims to expand existing methods or trial new creative and practical ones for recycling small household electricals. The fund addresses the challenge that while almost 80% of people think recycling their electricals is the right thing to do, only 45% think it's easy. Material Focus seeks to fund projects that make it easier for the UK to repair, donate or recycle their old electricals. The fund supports two types of projects: those seeking to expand or grow existing services for small household electricals, and those seeking to trial new methods. Organizations can apply for funding to improve household waste collection services, reuse and recycling services, or to trial innovative approaches to making electrical reuse and recycling more accessible to the public.
