Elida Martinez Scholarship

The Elida Martinez Scholarship is offered by the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing nursing or allied health professions at Tarrant County College. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need. Recipients must maintain enrollment in at least 9 credit hours (or 8 credit hours for nursing students) and a minimum GPA of 2.5. The scholarship can be renewed for the spring semester if the recipient meets the academic requirements and completes the minimum credit hours in the fall semester. The award is named in honor of Elida Martinez and is funded through the generous support of donor Alma Martinez-Eggar.
